We like to call you The Truthseeker because your business thrives when you have time to research all the facts and offer your customers the best technical version of your product or service.

As an INTP in business you might feel like you didn’t get the memo when it comes to those tricky things called ‘other humans’. You may look on in confusion at some of the social norms expected in business, and the task of marketing and selling your ideas (and we all know they are THE BEST ideas), may leave you scratching your head. You may also crave more privacy than you feel your business will allow and there’s a chance you’ll feel well out of place with the social media influencer and ‘personal brand’ frenzy that seems to rule the business world today.

And you know what, that’s totally ok. Because you have another super power. You are the true, original thinker. You’re the person the rest of us rely on to look at the world with objective eyes and tell us when when things can be done in a more accurate way. The human race needs the way you think to survive (even if we may not always appreciate that that we do).

The key to a healthy and successful business for you is to choose a business model that allows you to hide behind the scenes with plenty of time to delve into research mode and work through your ideas in your own time, and one that gives you the freedom to make decisions on the fly as new information comes to light or new innovative brain waves hit

Now, as to those tricky humans that make marketing and selling such a big part of business. While you may sometimes feel that getting other people on board with your ideas is over your head, take heart, what will be the gold nugget to your business succeeding is that either you are damn good at doing something, you have a damn good product or you’ve come up with a damn good innovation. Having a team to market your big ideas or partnering with someone who loves that side of business might be ideal, but if you’re not in a position to do so right now focus your marketing not on you, but on communicating the technical aspects of what you do in all their in-depth glory.
